Join me for a relaxing and inspiring workshop celebrating nature and the changing of the seasons through the craft of lino printing. Inspired by the fading colours of summer or the natural beauty of late October, you'll learn how to design, carve, and print your own custom lino block directly onto a stylish canvas tote bag. No prior drawing skills are required; I will provide a wonderful selection of seasonal templates if you are not a confident drawer, and will guide you through every step of the carving and printing process in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to practice your printmaking skills, you will leave with your own unique nature themed tote bag and the confidence to keep creating at home!

This year, ditch the generic store bought paper and embrace a truly eco-friendly Christmas by designing, carving, and printing your own sustainable wrapping paper, gift tags, cards, and fabric gift bags. Using festive inspiration, Mary will guide you through the entire process, from transferring your design onto the lino block to mastering the carving tools and achieving the perfect print. No drawing skills are required; Mary provides plenty of festive templates, including candy canes, holly, and cosy winter scenes, ensuring you create something beautiful. You’ll leave the workshop with a stunning, handmade collection ready to put under the tree, the skills to continue printing at home, and the satisfaction of knowing your Christmas wrapping is completely unique and kind to the planet.
Batik for Beginners - Autumn Forms and Colour

Join me to try your hand at batik. Inspired by natural forms in autumn, we can create a batik fabric piece of art and decorated with inks. This could be transformed into a scarf or a decorative wall piece.’ All levels of experience are welcome and all materials are provided. Please do bring a plastic / waterproof bag to take your work home in.
